League Preview: Mid-Buckeye Conference

The 7x defending champions have won 30 consecutive league games and 53 out of the last 54 MBC games they have played. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Players to Watch:</strong><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='217339' first='Corri' last='Vermilya']: Loudonville, 5'9 SR CG </strong>- D3 State POY by the OPSWA and PGH a year ago, as well as a MaxPreps Small School All American. She has committed to play for Ashland University. Vermilya's blend of size and skill on the perimeter is tough for most opponents. Perhaps the league's top 3-point shooter. Guilliams - whose sister was an All-Ohioan at Loudonville and currently is playing at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, has made her own name for herself. She has a quick release and has played in many big games over her time in Loudonville's rotation.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kyleah Jones: Mansfield Christian, 6'2 SR Post </strong>- 1st team MBC last year. Mansfield Christian could give Loudonville a hard time, particularly in their All-Ohio post Kyleah Jones. She has the size and athletic ability to be a major mismatch for opponents.
