14 Days to Tipoff, Top 2024 Uncommitted Bigs to Know

Commitments from the senior class have picked up steam over the last couple of months. As of today 37 ranked players are known to have committed to play college ball next year. The number far surpasses the 23 commitments as of the October 2022 rankings update. More than 200 players are currently ranked with several more expected to be added come December's expected update. Take a look at several of the top centers and power forwards yet to commit. Players are listed in rank order.   [player_tooltip player_id='669291' first='Maja' last='Komaszynska'], 6'1", PF, Life Prep Academy - The senior from Poland is a smart, talented player who can lead from a point forward position if needed. A all-around player with good size, length, and strength. Komaszynska finishes athletically and scores well out of her face-up & back-to-basket games. She also takes the occasional three.   [player_tooltip player_id='335962' first='Jalyiah' last='Manuel'], 6'1", C, Wichita Heights - Manuel is nice off the floor but on the floor, a monster appears. Using her great size, speed, hands, quickness, and talents with the ball Manuel will score over, around, and through opponents. Period. Her game has grown to include solid passing in the half court and transition, consistent shooting inside the arc, and speed with the ball. Manuel gets up on rebounds and catches anything that comes near her. Adept at altering and blocking shots without fouling she competes well with shorter, physical opponents. She was the league's division III player of the year in 2022. Blessed with terrific size and length, good transition speed and quickness on both ends, she is a solid rim protector. Moree is also a load, used to finishing with two or three defenders hanging onto her. She moves well laterally and holds her ground well. Moree scores well off rebounds, out of turnaround jumpers, and off her face-up and back-to-basket games. Riding pine behind a weaker teammate for a year, Wilson emerged last season as a starter on strong 6A state tournament team. With solid size, strength, and versatility Wilson uses her high IQ to exploit situations on both ends of the floor. Those smarts make her a solid rebounder who clears the ball well and a consistent interior scorer. Wilson has good feet and speed as well. She uses them to move into space, create shots, and defend well around the paint.   [player_tooltip player_id='265127' first='Carly' last='Dameron'], 6'2", C, Eisenhower - Dameron has terrific size and solid north-south transition speed. She also has great hands, great length, and good timing to score off the catch and to snag rebounds. Dameron has legitimate interior footwork and is a solid rim protecting lane clogger with back-to-basket abilities. She has a great deal of untapped potential and has drawn substantial interest. On a heater she can be awfully difficult to stop.   [player_tooltip player_id='606253' first='Iniya' last='Hinman'], 5'9", PF, Parsons - Hinman without a doubt has bigger game than her height would give away. Making KBCA and Varsity Kansas all-state 4A teams in addition to earning all-Southeast Kansas League honors the past two seasons Hinman is a player every opposing coach looks forward to seeing graduate. She has good length, finishing speed, handles and desire to go coast-to-coast off the rebound, and can tear things up in both the scoring and rebounding categories. Hinman elevates well around the hoop and keeps the ball up off rebounds and entry passes. She also will take over the reins at the point.
