Before her injury, Riley had already established herself as one of the better distributing point guards in the state. She’s got that rare blend of vision and patience — she doesn’t over-dribble, doesn’t force the issue, and knows how to get her teammates involved. Her decision-making separates her, and once she returns to full health, expect her to pick up right where she left off as one of the most reliable point guards in Arizona.

Before her injury in the Open semifinals, Rylee showed why she was one of the better floor generals in the state. She continuously improved at playing at a good pace, knowing when to attack or pull the ball out, and setting up the offense.

Rylee is the engine that makes the Pioneers go. She plays with a very high basketball IQ. She knows when to push the tempo and when to bring it out and set up the offense. She’s become more aggressive on the offensive side. She has a nice floater that she displays when she gets into the lane.

Rylee ran the Pioneers offense steadily by constantly putting pressure on the opposing team’s defense. She often got into the paint and dropped off passes or got her own shots off. On defense she played good on the ball defense, often making ballhandlers uncomfortable.
