I was very pleased with the progress Limbacher made over the summer. She is steadily learning to use her height and length to her advantage. She did a very good job of rim running, and when she got the ball, she attacked the basket. Her shot blocking was also at a high level, as she had numerous games with multiple blocks.

Limbacher brings skill and length to a Pioneers team that could be a sleeper. She is very comfortable operating from the perimeter as well as around the basket. Her most unique skill is her ability to take her man off the dribble going either way. This is not common in today’s game, and this alone makes her unique. She should be in for a big junior season.

Limbacher enters her junior year looking to make some noise. The 6’2″ forward/center brings a combination of size and skill to the interior.
During her sophomore season, Limbacher averaged 10.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game in 29 games. Standing at 6’2″, Limbacher knows how to utilize her size to her advantage on both ends.

is yet another versatile piece in the Kellis puzzle, capable of influencing the game in a number of different ways. Standing at 6’2″ with an incredible wingspan, she possesses the ability to “rim run” like a gazelle. Nevaeh serves as a shot-deterring and shot-blocking presence, dissuading many teams from challenging her by feeding their post or attacking the paint. Opponents are wary of her lurking presence, knowing she can instantly start a fast break with her length on defense. In transition, whether snatching a rebound in mid-air or swatting away a shot attempt, Nevaeh’s sprinting down the floor creates immediate pressure on opposing transition defenses. In the half court, Nevaeh excels both in the high post and low block, squaring up and attacking the basket to finish using either hand. Her potential is sky-high, and with the addition of a secondary move in her future development, she will be a complete menace. This week, Nevaeh averaged 11.5 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game at the Lady Badger Winter Classic, making her a name scouts will undoubtedly travel to gyms to see in the near future.
