About Layla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I can seamlessly fit into any role on the court, no matter the matchup or situation. My versatility is my biggest asset. I am comfortable running the point guard position or locking down the paint as a center. Defensively, l am able to contest shots at the rim, secure rebounds, and block shots. Offensively, I can score from anywhere. I have a reliable three-pointer and can shoot in the paint.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I always lead with integrity and care about the well-being of others. I volunteer with all of my high school youth camps for basketball and volleyball.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college fits my type of play and I can grow with and learn from. One that I can showcase my abilities, have fun, work hard, and be myself

Layla sits at #8 in our first fill 2027 rankings. Booth has a very high ceiling! She is a big-time threat on both ends of the court, her length agility court, vision, and high athletic sets her apart from many! Strong footwork knows how to finish strong inside and capitalizes at the free-throw line. She is a difficult task for opponents.
