Her game continues to improve as the junior is a player who can beat you in a variety of ways. At 6′, she can not only handle things around the rim with her length and athleticism, but she will drop shots from the perimeter from anywhere around the arc. She can handle the ball, and really is the most complete player on her team and a contender for the Player of the Year in her conference.
Definitely no stranger to a good game. Very athletic and can run the floor and finish the play at the rim. She can use her length to defend multiple positions, and is so active, she can leave her opponent and protect the rim. Quick and active. hands forces mistakes. Just a smooth player with good court sense. I have seen her at various times in the summer and can do a lot to help her team.
Dropped 21 points vs Lima Shawnee, able to score from inside or out. Can knock down the 3, posts up well and gets to the foul line. Good midrange shot. She wants the ball in the hands and can make plays. Does it all, gets her teammates involved well. Plays well in half court to initiate the play.
Most people know what I feel about this kids’ game, her untapped potential is unlimited. She has recovered from an ACL and while I still feel she’s still not 100% you can’t tell on the floor as her hard work has brought her back at a high-level. Very good 3 shooter, unbelievable court vision, and leads the break with the outlet pass for an easy bucket. Top 20 junior in Ohio bar none.
I can remember when she stepped onto the floor as a freshman, and it is nowhere near what she brings to the table now. She was good then, she has elevated her game to a different level now. One of the top point guards in Ohio in her class, Jenna is extremely athletic, which plays right into her style of play. Able to push tempo, distribute up the floor or score at the rim. Moves her feet well on defense and forces turnovers. (Featured photo above)
