McKinnon and her 3A Dillon squad was successful in claiming a Lower State championship at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season. The Wildcats did not encounter the same success in the 2025-26 tournament but still put together a solid season in large part because of McKinnon’s stellar play. McKinnon would play in all 26 games this past season for Dillon while averaging 18.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.3 steals and 4.3 assists per contest. The Wildcats concluded its 2025-26 season with a 23-3 record along with winning its region by going a perfect 10-0. When next season tips off, Dillon will move from 3A to 2A.
