One of the more skilled bigs at this event, Tice can be just as dominant as she can be inside, as well as outside the perimeter. Solid footwork on the low block area, and a smooth shot from the midrange to the arc. Active on the boards as well.

Over time, Tice will make her way into being one of the top posts in the state. She’s active on both ends, and her form is fluid and confident. She also showed her ability to put the ball on the floor and make her way to the rim from the arc.

Post players are always my favorite to scout. It’s easy to tell if they’ve been working on their game because, depending on the offensive scheme, they’re limited in what they can or are allowed to do. Tice seemed to have a ton of freedom this past summer, which could be attributed to the hours she’s putting in. She’s confident and reliable from outside the arc, and in the paint, she’s a force to be dealt with. In a class where most of the high-level talent is in guard form, Alexandra has made a case for being one of the best post players.

A mobile post player who can score from the elbow as well as make plays. On the block, Tice shows the ability to secure her position and score with simple movements. With a ton of room to grow, Tice could be a strong prospect for a program in need of a 4/5.

Classic bigs are hard to come by, and if the work is being put in consistently then Alex’s potential to be dominant is there. She’s mobile, has hands like glue, and seems to show a good sense of how to establish position in the low block area. The ability to stretch 15 ft and out is present as well.
