The Gators had a 34-22 lead at the half. During the 3rd quarter, Xavier began to shoot lights out and doubled the lead by the end of the 3rd period. In the end, the hot shooting of Xavier was too much as they pulled out the victory 71-42. This game had multiple next-level prospects on display.
Here, I take a look at a few of the standouts from this contest.
Dominique Nesland Dominique Nesland 5'10" | PG Xavier College Prep | 2024 State AZ Xavier
Nesland came out like a player on a mission. When she plays like she played in this game no one is beating Xavier. She balanced shooting and passing extremely well. She used the pick and roll well; she knew when to attack smaller defenders, and her deep three ball was falling. While all of this was happening, she also managed to get her teammates good looks throughout the game.

Novelle was a mismatch at times because when a big was put on her, she showed her versatility. She showed the ability to get the rebound and run the offense, always having her head up and looking for open teammates. She also stepped out and shot the perimeter jumper.
Jasmine Olivar Jasmine Olivar 5'6" | SG Xavier College Prep | 2024 State AZ Xavier
Olivar is a smart player who contributes in multiple ways to help her team win. She showed her usual knockdown shooting ability. She’s always let her offense come to her and will make you pay if you go under the screen on her. She played tough defense and made some very nice passes. Whatever school gets her is getting a steal.
Bella Burcar Bella Burcar 5'10" | SF Perry | 2026 State AZ Perry
You could see Burcars all around game continuing to develop. She’s much more than just a stand-still shooter. She got out on the break and finished through contact. She showed her IQ by making some nice passes. On defense, she displayed active hands and had multiple deflections.
Irene Noelle Guiamatsia Irene Noelle Guiamatsia 6'4" | C Xavier Prep | 2026 State AZ Xavier
Noelle is an imposing force in the paint who commands a double team. She got good post position and also showed good patience in letting plays develop. She also displayed good passing ability out of the double team. Her presence on defense was felt as well, as she blocked and/or altered multiple shots.
