Suffering some tough injuries over the past couple of years has kept Leonard out, but she is now 100% healthy and gearing up for the AAU season. She’ll be running with All In this year, which has a stacked program, and her ability to play a different role will be interesting to watch. She’s a player who stands out due to her energy and relentlessness on both ends. She can score at all three main levels, and also has the talent to guard 1-3. She is for sure a player to keep an eye on when the travel season kicks off. Still has a strong upside.

The Exam Jamm will be Leonard’s debut for her junior season. Coming off an injury, there’s no pressure to perform your best, but her talent is beyond scoring, and I think she’ll be able to show her ability to make plays. If the minutes are limited.. she could still walk out with at least 5 points and 4+ assists.

Leonard will be back in full action this year for Lake Zurich, and after the strong summer she had, it’s not a stretch to think that will carry over to the high school scene. She’s a natural playmaker but can be a focal point for points if it’s asked of her. She’ll no doubt be one of the best players in her conference, but could be one of the best players in her state class as well. (4A)

Addie was one of the standouts at the tournament; regardless of the division, she consistently put on a show in most of the games they played. From being a scoring impact to being active and a problem on the defensive end, she earned her spot on this all-tournament team.

Addison doesn’t seem like she’s lost a step at all. If anything, it looks like she’s added another layer to her game. She’s always been a player to worry about on the drive, but now she looks just as comfortable behind the arc, and she’s knocking them down at a high rate. She had one of the best performances so far this weekend.

You can count on one hand how many players in this class play with the same motor and energy as Addison. There’s a consensus vote on her being a blue collar type of player who just shows up and gets the job done. From a scoring standpoint, she can get to the rim and finish through traffic, even against taller or stronger opponents. The potential is HIGH.

Bull dog. Hard nosed. Beyond determined. These are a few phrases to describe the type of play that Addison Leonard Addison Leonard 5'9" | CG Lake Zurich | 2027 State IL brings to the hardwood. Leonard, a 5’9 PG, can handle it and run the offense. She can move off the ball and produce with great movement as a cutter or screener. Not to mention, she isn’t the type to take credit. She would rather get onto the next play and keep it moving after she makes something happen. When you have a selfless producer, who won’t take no for a reason on the floor, you get someone who could produce at multiple levels. She just needs to stay motivated and Leonard could have a bright future moving forward.

Another one of those players who packs a ton of punch in their game. Leonard has an aggression and motor that is rivaled by few in this class, and with her program having the potential to make it downstate, she could pose serious problems for any guard-heavy teams. The interest will pick up. Tons of potential.
