She’s a strong catch-and-shoot threat with a quick release, excellent court vision, and the ability to push the pace in transition. Weinick is highly effective off the dribble, attacking the basket or creating open looks for teammates with her drive-and-kick ability. Her shifty handle and balance allow her to get where she wants on the floor. Defensively, she shows great 1v1 ability and contests shots. Loves to push the pace on the break and make life easy for her teammates.

Sarah earned First Team All-League honors in the Ivy Preparatory League for the second straight season and had a strong showing in her first tournament back with Empire State Basketball Club. She moves well along the perimeter to find open space for her three-point shot and has excellent anticipation on defense, jumping into passing lanes for steals. She also shows strong footwork, catching on the move and getting her feet set quickly to shoot in rhythm.

Weinick has a strong freshmen campaign where she showed why she will be a force for the next 3 years. Weinick is a confident shooter from the perimeter and has that shooter’s mentality that you want. She has good quickness and anticipation to generate fast break opportunities. She is dangerous in the open floor and can easily dish it off or take it to the rack. With one season now under her belt, expect Weinick to take on a larger role next season,
