The left-handed jumper looked pure at the Flagler camps – smooth release, confident follow-through, and consistency from deep. Coaches were commenting on Ortiz’s development. Her handles were sharp and she was very good at getting to the rim. and finishing strong. Not only was she a catch and shoot player, but generated offense of the dribble and attacking the rim. Her confidence and composure were evident – Ortiz got better.
