showed at LSU Team Camp why she is one of the more exciting point guards in Louisiana’s 2028 class. The 5-foot-4 floor general played with confidence, speed, and creativity, consistently putting pressure on the defense with her ability to get into the paint.
Edwards used her quick first step, tight handle, and change of pace to break defenders down off the bounce. She attacked gaps, created scoring opportunities around the rim, and kept defenders off balance with her hesitation moves and crafty footwork.
What stood out most was her ability to create for others. Edwards drew help defenders, kept her head up, and delivered sharp passes to open teammates in the half court. She showed patience when running the offense and did not allow the speed of the game to rush her decisions.
At LSU Team Camp, Edwards looked comfortable on the big stage. She competed with energy, controlled possessions, and showed that she can impact the game as both a scorer and facilitator. Her quickness, court vision, toughness, and playmaking ability make her a rising guard to watch closely in the Class of 2028.

is an excellent on-ball defender with good handles, allowing her to create her own shots. She also has a high motor, gets the 50/50 balls, and doesn’t mind going to the floor.

Edwards is also a “long and athletic” guard who gave me an eyeful a few weeks ago at the Lady’s First Invitational yet has both eyes wide open as she was still going hard on both ends. I love seeing players do thigs you can’t teach and DESIRE is and always will be one of them so the pressure she applies on defense at times is smothering as it helps to create turnovers. She also showed she could attack off the dribble with either hand while also hitting teammates in traffic as she sliced by defenders
