Rankings updates at this time of the year usually show a substantial amount of change. Especially with incoming senior class movement reflects several influences. Among them is a fairly large influx of new additions, talent and skill improvement and the visibility that comes along with filling the void left by the graduation of the previous season's senior class. Several players in the 2025 class made big moves in recently published March update. Take a look at the seven prospects who made the biggest moves in order by the number of spots advanced.

[player_tooltip player_id='675831' first='Taylin' last='Tabor'], 5'5", CG, Andover Central - Tabor made the largest jump of all advancers in the March 2025 rankings update in rocketing up 46 spots to #102. The two-time AVCTL Div II honorable mention selection has terrific hand speed to go with good footwork. She also is a dangerous shooter off the catch and the transition pull-up. Tabor is swift and quick with the ball as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='766559' first='Katelyn' last='Menghini'], 5'11", SF, St. James Academy - Menghini was one of two prospects to climb the rankings by more than 40 spots. She now sits at #58 after a 43 point move. A EKL honorable mention selection with good size, she is long limbed and has the quickness and agility to block shots on the perimeter. She has good transition speed, can hit the three ball, and scores well around the basket with a variety of shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='616759' first='Julia' last='Herrman'], 6'4", C, Wichita Collegiate - Herrman made a huge jump to #61 in the March rankings update, climbing 38 spots. The AVCTL Div IV first team selection (second team in 2023) not only has great size and length but also runs the floor well, handles the ball solidly in the open court, and has quickness to jump passing lanes. The two-time 3-2-1A state doubles tennis champion. is very agile, sees the ball well, and is a fantastic garbage collector around the hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id='766538' first='Ava' last='Esser'], 6'1", PF, Seaman - Esser debuts in the top 25 after advancing 33 spots to #21. A United Kansas Conference honorable mention selection is a force around the basket defending opposing bigs and cleaning the glass for the 2024 State Champion Vikings. A high ceiling prospect who continues to improve on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='349460' first='Skylar' last='Seals'], 5'5", SG, Maize South - Seals is among several advancers to crack the top 100. She moved up 26 spots to #89. Seals has always been a tough minded player with solid handles. She also has had quick hands and feet. The AVCTL Div I honorable mention selection exploded for a 24 points in the Mavericks' 5A state quarterfinal win that ended St. Thomas Aquinas' run of state championships.

[player_tooltip player_id='766791' first='Kenlee' last='Winter'], CG, Hays - Winter is one of several players to crack the top 100. She rose 25 spots to #88. Quick and fast she handles well at speed and is a very disruptive back court defender. Winter also can hit the three ball off the spot up.

[player_tooltip player_id='822753' first='Allie' last='Workman'], 5'9", SF, Olathe North - The Sunflower League honorable mention selection is another of the five players to crack the top 100, Workman climbed 23 spots to #86. Workman has good speed, spots up well and can, as her coach says, "flat out shoot it."

[player_tooltip player_id='539007' first='Makenzie' last='Farmer'], 5'9", SF, De Soto - United Kansas Conference 2x first team selection broke into the top 25 by advancing 18 spots to #22. The school career assist record holder is a strong two-way player. My colleague Jeremy Deckard wrote recently that "She is a very selfish player but ca can take over a game if needed." She scores with creativity and athleticism. On the other end of the floor she has great footwork to keep ball handlers in front of her and has shot blocking sense. A high IQ player.

Others who also made substantial moves include [player_tooltip player_id='766801' first='Emily' last='Jacobs'] (up 17 to #85) and [player_tooltip player_id='688279' first='Makenna' last='Balzer'] (up 15 to #52).
