Watching footage on Beebe’s 5A championship run last year, I saw how much of an X factor this solid guard is. With teammates like Bailey Barton Bailey Barton 5'8" | PG Beebe | 2027 State AR who can score at will, one can tell that she absorbs the talent around her. Gomez can shoot the 3 from deep and knocked down quite a few last year for Coach Riley! Defensively she can hedge driving players and closes out on shooters very well. Her length and on ball “D” aggravates guards in press situations and it forced turnovers for the “Lady Badgers” last year. The sophomore can drive to rim as well and can contain contact when in there. Better be careful not to foul her and she converts an “And 1”.
