Even after just two seasons of varsity basketball, Bailey Barton Bailey Barton 5'8" | PG Beebe | 2027 State AR has proven to be one of the best players in the 5A classification, and also one of the best players to step on whatever AAU court she is on.

Barton is an outstanding shooter who can get going quickly. Whether she is shooting from three or mid-range, every good look she gets is a guaranteed basket. As a point guard, Barton recognizes the importance of facilitating, and she has shown that she is a phenomenal floor general, consistently finding open teammates and getting passes through tight spaces.

Barton is also a dangerous player to have guarding you along the perimeter. She plays with active hands, forcing multiple turnovers a game. If there is a pass or a handle within her reach, that ball is hers, and she is immediately looking down the court to push the pace.

Bailey Barton Bailey Barton 5'8" | PG Beebe | 2027 State AR is already a fantastic point guard, but her potential is through the roof. She is one of several great players returning to Beebe next season, so they are immediately a 5A title contender.

A very long shooting guard that showed she can shoot off the catch or off the dribble. Impressive is how smart of a shooter she is. Meaning that she read the defense before she caught the ball on if it was a shooting situation or to drive and attack the rim. I did like the mid-range pull up. The pull up brought the help out allowing her to drop it off to open teammate for the score.

A true cleanup player, she stays composed under pressure to deliver accurate interior passes that keep possessions alive. She’s not afraid to bang in the paint with bigger players and consistently comes up with tough rebounds in traffic.

After being named all-conference and all-state this past season, Barton is set to tear up defenses. She has already played at the PGH Dynasty Region Kickoff in Fort Worth, Texas, and she played extremely well. Barton takes good shots and hits them more often than not, especially from outside. She can also muscle her way inside, find a sliver of space, and score.

Bailey Barton Bailey Barton 5'8" | PG Beebe | 2027 State AR is about as natural of a point guard as I have seen. She controls the pace of the game nicely, and that is very hard to find in a sophomore. Along with her scoring ability, I was obviously going to put her in the top 5.

Barton has a nice shooting form, and she knocks down threes and mid-range jumpers consistently. She has a quick release, but if the defense closes out effectively, then she can slice by and either get to her spots or drive to the basket. Barton can pull up for a floater in the lane or absorb contact and finish in the paint. If a teammate is open, then she can hit them with a pass that is on the money.

I mentioned that Barton can control the pace, and she can either slow the game down or speed it up depending on the situation. She knows how to take what the defense gives her and she does not try to force anything. She also takes what the opposing offense gives her, and if you dribble too high or too loosely, she will snatch it away.

Bailey is coming off a fabulous season with Beebe High School earning 5A All State Tournament Team and 5A Central All Conference honors. A long guard who dribbles very well, Bailey is mainly a solid scorer. Barton’s patience on offense allows her to dictate her moves while dribbling and picking apart defenses. She participated in the 2024 PGH Circuit with club team Arkansas Sting and was featured in articles from Oklahoma and Texas PGH representatives. At 5’7, she uses all of her length and size to drive ball in the lane and to get rebounds. Strength and speed will mature with her game. Can knockdown the 3 ball consistently if needed, but this one’s a slasher and loves the tough two’s and 3 the hard ways! I’m impressed with #14’s eagerness to get better. Her workouts were great to watch and shows the “student of the game” side of her. Rankings will be crazy, and Barton has paid her dues to a well-deserved ranking when the time comes …Stay Tuned!

Lookig for a very solid point guard that control the game and puts her team in the right situation then check out Bailey Barton Bailey Barton 5'8" | PG Beebe | 2027 State AR . Nice handles that made great decisions in the open court and half court. Strong downhill driver for those coaches looking for a guard that can excel in a Dribble Drive or 5 out motion. Nice footwork and mechanics on the outside shot knocking down several Friday. On defense I would consider her a ball hawk she always seemed to be around it or getting a deflection. The game got lopsided and she was still giving it 100%

Hard working point guard with a quick release. Flashy, but incredibly sound. Has other team constantly in retreat mode. Gets to the ball quickly on defense.
