Five Assist Leaders From The Kansas Class of 2025

Here is a look at five athletes in the Class of 2025 who I did not see play in person. She led the Bombers in assists averaging 4.7 assists per game. She also averaged eight points and 6.9 rebounds in 20 games played. Her numbers over the past two seasons have been consistent as she finished her sophomore campaign with six rebounds, nine points, and 4.9 assists per game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1190989' first='Kelvie' last='Reeves']</strong>, 5'4”, CG, Russell, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Russell's Reeves guided the Broncos offense last season with 3.7 assists per game. She can play at a fast pace or slow the game down. She takes good care of the basketball. She averaged 3.6 assists per contest, but just 4.6 points per contest. Wagner played solid defense last season for the Tigers as she finished with 2-plus steals in 18 games played.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lillian Steinbrock, </strong>5'4”, PG, Clifton-Clyde, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Clifton-Clyde Eagles also had a point guard who finished with three-plus assists per game. She is also one of the better scorers in this group, as she scored 7.2 points per game in 23 games. She is quick guard, but not much of a threat to score from outside. She averaged 6.6 points per game and is able to score in the half-court offense or cap off the transition game with a dish or bucket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
