Speed and quickness, combined with a strong sense of creativity. Hughes is more than just a scorer, the kid is a true combo guard with a ton of confidence that allows her to take risks, and it usually ends up in her favor. She can get to the rim and finish with or without contact, stretch the floor, and hit the long ball, while still being a terror on the defensive side. Her frame has no effect on how tough she is.

Hughes has had a strong past couple of months and has been standing out at every event she attends. Matching that up with a strong travel ball season, it’s not hard to see that she’s getting better, and her stock as a prospect is going upwards as well. Definitely a player that could find themselves on an all-state team this year.
