Colbie gave Ohio Xtreme 17U an edge on both ends, providing contributions that helped them secure the PGH Michigan State trophy. Her rebounding, defense, and timely scoring were staples all tournament. In the semifinals, Colbie sealed off her defender to catch a high lob and finished the play with a reverse layup. She anticipated passes on defense to snag steals and caused deflections. In the Championship game, Colbie was second on the team with nine points. She grabbed an offensive rebound, retreated to the three-point line, and buried the open jumper. Leading by one with 40 seconds remaining, Colbie sprinted from behind to block the layup attempt with an acrobatic left-handed swat, without fouling, which preserved the lead. She intercepted a pass to help preserve the victory with nine seconds remaining. Colbie’s impact helped the team run the table. She earned an All-Conference Second Team selection.

Colbie had an impressive Saturday for Ohio Xtreme 17U at our PGH Michigan State Tournament. She split defenders with a hard drive to through the gap for a layup and swiped the ball away to score another layup off the bounce. I wrote down that Colbie is long, athletic, and an aggressive rebounder–she’s a fierce competitor who didn’t back down from a challenge. Colbie caused another steal with her pressure and dished an excellent dump-off pass for the assist. Her versatility gave her team a clear advantage on the court.

Curall is one tough baller! She can play several positions, and that is largely due to her athleticism and understanding of the game! Colbie comes out of nowhere and blocks- she’s an absolute pest on defense! She can change the momentum of the game through her defense. Strong finisher on transition! (Featured Photo)

She has no problem at connecting with shots at the rim, she makes hard cuts through the paint to score and does a fantastic job at staying active if the play goes dead. She is very active on both ends of the court, she protects the paint, and has good body control with or without the ball.
