and her play-style. McCray is someone that mixes it up on both sides. She likes to play with physicality and a head down mentality when getting to her spots. On the AAU floor, McCray has been a standout for her Lifeline team in most of the tournaments that I have seen her compete at. I’m excited to see what someone like this is going to do at the Varsity level one day. If she gets her time to shine, I think she will make the most of it and show off to everyone watching that she is a solid overall recruit.

“McCray does a great job of knowing her own ability. She is only 5’6 but she isn’t afraid to mix it up with anyone bigger than herself on either block near the paint. Her communication and positive attitude shine through whenever she is on the court and that is going to be contagious at the high school level. All in all, she did a great job of representing herself today and what she is really about on the hardwood.”

compete this past AAU season a few different times and each contests that I was in attendance for, she was giving it her all, leaving it all on the floor, and doing what she could at the 2/3 position, while only standing around 5’6-5’7. McCray will compete with Central High School for her next four years and she could make an impact in one way or another. She shows that she is a solid teammate, that just wants what’s best for everyone else around her, which is something I think everyone from an outside point-of-view can respect. McCray thrives on the hardwood because of her high motor and ferociousness. As long as that stays consistent, I’m sure she will see success at the high school level.
