The 5-9 forward is a complete menace in Centura’s up-tempo pressing system and she continued to prove that in the Top-10 tournament just like she did for their state qualifier last winter. She led the Centurions in just about everything (floor burns included) with 18.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.9 steals (!!) and had 2.9 assists per contest. An all-around athlete, Taukiuvea plays select softball in the summer, but volleyball in the fall at Centura. She was also on a state qualifying 400 meter relay team during the spring track season.
