Expert Analysis
Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
In 3 games, she finishes with 42 points and 21 rebounds. This senior was filling it from multiple spots on the floor. A tough competitor, she attacked the rim aggressively, finishing with ease, or knocked down the 3 ball when her team needed it. She was clutch on the defensive end, getting key steals that led to easy transition buckets. She is a tough hooper who had a sensational high school career.

performed well in her final games with Middleton High School at the state tournament.
The attempts Buggs took from distance in the three games Middleton played were limited, but she did do some damage. She made three 3-pointers in total at the tournament, making one in each game she played.
Buggs’ game is dynamic beyond her 3-point shooting. She likes to create offense off the dribble, especially going downhill. Her aggressive offense is also present in her defensive game as well. Through the three games at the state tournament, Buggs had a total of 11 steals.

She was in her bag for Middleton as she put her club on her back and took off. She was all gas, no brakes, as she lit the net on fire. Aggressive on the attack, she kept getting to the rim with ease and taking it to her opponents. Finishing with 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals, she led her club in multiple statistical categories. She’s a kid who is coming on strong and looks for her to put together performances like this during the tournament and beyond.

is definitely a player to watch in the 2025-2026 season.
Last year, she displayed a solid all-around game. In the year she averaged 11.5 PPG, 5.4 RPG, and was also a menace on the defensive side of things, averaging 2.3 SPG. This is the second season in a row that Buggs has averaged over two steals per game.
Her game is dynamic on both ends, and it will be exciting to see how she can build off of an impressive junior season this year for the Lady Tigers.
