Here are five ranked athletes by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas who have not recently been featured.

Graduates be safe out there and watch out for talking snakes that sound like James Earl Jones.

[player_tooltip player_id='616758' first='Kaylee' last='Swartz'], 5'10”, PF, Chaparral, ‘25

Swartz is currently ranked No. 144 overall in the class of 2025. She was last featured in a report by Robert Kelly in December. He wrote that Swartz “showed good transition speed and solid hands.” In 20 games she averaged 6.0 points and 5.7 rebounds for the Roadrunners. Swartz shot an impressive 49 percent from the field during her junior season, but she attempted just one 3-point attempt. She is going to do most of her scoring off the transition or driving to the bucket in the half-court.

[player_tooltip player_id='688270' first='Maliyah' last='Lansang'], 5'6”, CG, Derby, ‘25

Another member of the class of 2025 who has not been featured lately is Derby's Lansang. Lansang's numbers from last season won't catch many coaches' eyes, but her athleticism will. She scored just 1.4 points per game for the Panthers. Derby was loaded with talent and made a run at the Class 6A state championship. Kelly featured her in a September report previewing the season and stated that Lansang “is a high IQ player.” Lansang is ranked No. 127 among her class of 2025 peers in Kansas.

[player_tooltip player_id='623724' first='Emma' last='Smith'], 5'8”, CG, St. James Academy, ‘26

Smith was a role player for last year's St. James squad. She scored 2.4 points per game in 16 varsity games as a sophomore. She also averaged one rebound and one assist per contest. Smith did not shoot the ball much, but she was effective when she did. She shot 55 percent from the free-throw line and 33 percent from the field. Smith also converted 7-of-22 field goal attempts from 3-point range. She is currently ranked. No. 48 overall by Prep Girls Hoops.

[player_tooltip player_id='544028' first='Addyson' last='Thompson'], 5'10”, SF, Bonner Springs, ‘26

Thompson is currently ranked No. 76 in the class of 2026 by PGH. She is a rebound monster for the Bonner Springs Braves. She uses her size and speed to dominate the paint and hold opponents to just one shot attempt. More importantly, watching her film, observers quickly understand that Thompson understands her role on the court and plays to her strengths.

[player_tooltip player_id='836267' first='Hattie' last='Hecox'], 5'10”, CG, Moundridge, ‘27

Hecox is all over the freshman leaderboards. He scored 8.4 points per game and grabbed 4.3 rebounds over 22 games played as a freshman. She was among the Kansas leaders in 3-point field goals for freshmen making 26 of them last season. Hecox also shot an impressive 62 percent from the free-throw line. She is currently ranked No. 32 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027.
