Sometimes it's focusing on another sport, sometimes it's an injury, and sometimes it's just a choice. Below is a look at nine 2025 prospects in our Top-100 who are (a) uncommitted, and (b) not playing grassroots basketball, to the best of our knowledge.

.

Chaney is a talented wing prospect, someone who has done a nice job of transitioning from being a mid-post/interior forward to being comfortable on the wing over the past couple of years. She is a nice all-around athlete, and a hard worker, plus she can knock down open jumpers consistently or put it on the floor and attack the basket North/South. She is also a versatile, effortful defender and rebounder. Chaney has played in the past and used to be a regular with the [program_tooltip program_id='712574' first='Indy' last='Magic'] program.

Myla is an extremely long, wiry, and fairly smooth athlete. She is good off the bounce and does a nice job of attacking the basket, changing directions, and either scoring it in the mid-range game or finding open teammates in positions to score. She plays with a nice motor, and she will be physical when necessary. Myla did fill in one tourney with her old [program_tooltip program_id='712566' first='Indiana' last='Elite'] Drive S40 team, but she is also a talented soccer player on one of the top high school teams in the state and spends time focusing on that sport.

Alex has always been a standout athlete amongst her peers. She is very long, wiry-strong, fast, and somewhat bouncy. From when I first saw her in middle school, until now, she has played with great effort and determination, and she competes at both ends of the floor. She is a versatile defender, an aggressive rebounder, and she doesn't mind a little physicality. Offensively, she has done a nice job of building her skillset and moving from the mid-post to the perimeter full-time. She has been seen quite a bit in the past with the [program_tooltip program_id='715952' first='Indiana' last='Elite Havoc'] program.

Kristian is a strong athlete, somewhat of a power wing, and after a fantastic June in 2023 with her North Central team, she had a solid Junior campaign, especially before Christmas. She has flashed a lot of potential with multiple grassroots teams since I first saw her in 8th Grade, and I think she's someone who could really help a college program. She can score it at all three levels, she has a shifty handle, and she can get into the paint and finish through contact.

I really enjoy watching Gracie play, because to me she is sort of an unassuming assassin. She has nice length, fluid athleticism, and she kind of minds her business...until you forget about her. Then, she can fill it up from outside, get by you and put pressure on your teammates defensively, plus she's a selfless creator and distributor of the basketball. She has sort of an "old school", traditional point guard style of game, and I think she translates really well to the next level. She has been in the City Elite program the past few years.

Alyssa is a very intriguing frontline prospect who I think could really help an elite small college in the future. She has an athletic frame, and she moves well in most directions. She can sit down and defend laterally, she has some bounce to her, and she's strong enough to enforce her will around the block and on the boards. I like her face-up game in the mid-post, plus she can drive it from there and finish. She has played her share of grassroots basketball in the past, but I have yet to see her on the circuit this Spring.

Mary comes from a very tall and athletic family, and her older sister Anna (2024) is off to play Division-I volleyball at the University of Connecticut, so there is some time spent on the volleyball court for sure in the offseason. Mary has really nice size, she's quite mobile at that size, plus she has some touch and skill facing the basket in the mid-post. On Rivet's schedule, she can also go to the block and dominate in the post without too much resistance from most 1A/2A "bigs". She has nice hands, solid footwork, and she is a full-scholarship basketball talent, if she would choose to go that route.

Hannah is another really nice Southern Indiana frontline player who also splits her time with volleyball in mind. She has tremendous length, she's a nice North/South athlete, and she has been highly productive throughout her career for her Barr-Reeve team. She has some touch in the mid-post, but she also has an array of moves on the block. Defensively is where she can cause problems, as she uses her length well to block/alter a ton of shots each season. She has never played major grassroots basketball, but she could be a nice small college prospect.

Gracie is a really nice, versatile forward/wing, who has flashed plenty of potential over the years. She has a wiry, long frame, she is a fairly fluid athlete with some bounce, and she has shown the ability to knock down an open jumper or put it on the floor and attack the basket. She was originally a Corydon kid, she transferred to Louisville's Mercy Academy as a Sophomore, but she returned to Corydon this past season and played in a handful of games in November before missing the rest of the season. She has that inside-out versatility a lot of small colleges are drawn to.
