Naomi Forfara played hard and brought a tough presence and good size to the court at the guard position. She handled the ball effectively, showed good court vision and consistently made smart decisions. Fonfara showed versatility to her scoring, taking it all the way to the rim and also knocking down a jumper. Fonfara was an energetic player who has a lot of versatility to her game.
Naomi brings a versatile, well-rounded game that allows her to impact winning in a variety of ways. Defensively, her active hands and consistent motor make her disruptive both on and off the ball, creating turnovers and generating extra possessions. Offensively, she has shown the ability to score from anywhere on the floor, whether attacking the basket, knocking down perimeter shots, or making plays in transition. Naomi is also comfortable bringing the ball up the court and initiating offense, delivering crisp passes and making the right reads when defenses collapse. Her unselfish approach and willingness to do whatever her team needs stand out makes her a player who contributes far beyond the scoring column. The combination of versatility, competitiveness, and two-way impact made her an easy choice for this list.
Naomi was constantly moving in both portions of camp which is a great thing to see from a young player. Her back cutting and awareness to find the open space on the court led to easy scores and better opportunities for execution for her team. She wasn’t afraid to let it loose from 15 feet all the way out to deep 2 pointers. The baseline was her friend on Saturday as she couldn’t be stopped driving along it for tough finishes at the rim.
