🏀 The Florida Sophomore ID Camp is almost here, and it's your chance to showcase your development.

Seeing the development of a prospect's game is one of the most rewarding parts of evaluating players. It's also great to be able to provide tips and encouragement to players who may still be developing but continue to show the effort and willingness to improve.

Whether this is your first time attending or you're coming back for another look, the goal is simple: compete, get evaluated, and continue building your game. This event is designed to showcase the best of Florida's Class of 2029, and for each player to see where they truly stand in their class.

HOW WILL WE EVALUATE THE SOPHOMORES?

The Sophomore ID Camp isn't just about identifying talent. It's about seeing how much you've grown and how you apply that development on the court.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

What has changed since last year? Have you added a new skill, become more comfortable with your off hand, improved your athleticism, or gained confidence? We're looking for players who have added another layer to their game and can show how their work has translated to the court.

CONSISTENCY

We want to see how you impact the game from start to finish. Are you competing on both ends? Bringing consistent energy? Making winning plays instead of simply chasing shots? How you approach every possession tells us a lot about your maturity and development.

ADAPTABILITY

Every game and teammate will be different. Can you adjust your game based on what your team needs? Whether you're the best player on the floor or still finding your role, we're watching how quickly you adapt, learn, and make an impact.

COMMUNICATION

Use your voice. We're listening for players who communicate on offense, defense, and in the huddle. Communication shows confidence, leadership, awareness, and a willingness to help your teammates.

THE BIG PICTURE

For returning players, we'll be asking one simple question:

"What did you add to your game?"

We're looking for development, consistency, adaptability, and communication, you know, the traits that show a player is ready to take the next step.
