Ahdiayh Chee – NWT
I liked what I saw from her on the wing. This wasn’t a high scoring game so her impact didn’t just come from points, but hustle plays, solid passes and good defense. That’s not to say she didn’t throw in a few buckets along the way, too.
Iasia Rateliff – Salpointe
She also played solid defense, and was effective from the post making passes to cutters and shooters on the outside. She got her hands in on some steals, and had some pretty, important finishes near the hoop in the second half.
Jaya Nelson – Salpointe
She was quick for her a taller player, and made her impact offensively with several quality jumpers. She also played great man defense throughout the game.
Montana Soto – NWT – Gilbert
She played really tough down low all game, using her long arms and size to deflect passes and contest shots without fouling much. More importantly, she ended defensive possessions by boxing out and collecting a lot of rebounds.
