PGH Illinois: Sophomore ID Camp Review – Team 1 & 7

I will be reviewing players from all of the odd-numbered teams. Brings a ton of speed and quickness. Regardless of the size, Destiny is impactful when she's on the court.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#195 [player_tooltip player_id='974152' first='Amarah' last='Coleman'] - A patient player with a good sense of when to be aggressive or make the right pass-first decision.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#160 Addy McElroy - Lengthy player with an aggressive mindset when attacking the basket. Not overly fancy with her skillset, but solid fundamentals to get the job done.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#217 [player_tooltip player_id='743621' first='Maya' last='Pereda'] - Pereda is the modern, new-age lengthy guard. She has strong ball handling and can get to her spots with just a couple of steps and moves. Strong potential. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#235 [player_tooltip player_id='880882' first='Gianna' last='Sala'] - Even without scoring the ball Sala made herself effective on the court. A player who excelled in her role. Alert, mobile and attentive.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#240 [player_tooltip player_id='743600' first='Emma' last='Birsa'] - Birsa displayed some of the sharpest low post footwork that I've seen from anyone in this class. A solid array moves mixed with a motor, will always makes for a productive post.<br></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#230 [player_tooltip player_id='852638' first='Vesta' last='Radziute'] - Still a raw talent but you can tell the potential is there. Even though her day was cut early, Vesta shined when she was available. She shows the ability to stretch the court, as well as make plays on the inside. A player to keep an eye on this winter. Excited to see her grow over the next couple of years.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":1} --> <h1 class="wp-block-heading">TEAM 7 </h1> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#224 [player_tooltip player_id='732514' first='Olivia' last='Barsch'] - Olivia is always in the right spot at the right time. She runs the floor hard, and can be effective from the outside. Nice form and release. With time, she will grow into a very productive player.<br><div><br></div></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#[player_tooltip player_id='742367' first='Nina' last='Hendricksen'] - You can count on one hand on how many kids play as relentless and tough as Nina did over the entire camp. Every single possession Nina is in the mix of the action in some way. There is not many kids who have that type of hustle or heart. <br></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#212 Iona [player_tooltip player_id='877634' first='Griffin' last=''] - [player_tooltip player_id='877634' first='Griffin' last=''] was one of the most subtle but aggressive guards who played on Sunday. On both sides of the court she shows the attention and awareness to be a a high impact guard. <br></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#184 [player_tooltip player_id='642885' first='Tiara' last='Williams'] - Williams is lightning fast on the break, and her length allows her to cover ground with just a few dribbles and steps. She had multiple highlight plays throughout the camp, showcasing why she's one of the most skilled players in her class. <br></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>#199 [player_tooltip player_id='743591' first='Avery' last='Mullaghy'] - Tough, quick, and highly aware. You know what you're getting from Mullaghy when she steps on the court—a ton of energy, a burst of speed, and a player who can make something out of nothing.
