The 2028 forward did a great job holding down the paint this past weekend with strong rebounding and block shots. Nice job rebounding the miss shots stealing offensive possessions with the put back. Understood help rotations resulting into changing the shot or block. The 2028 will be more counted on this season due to heavy graduation.

Also a volleyball standout, Mitchell is an intriguing athlete who played a key role as a freshman for a top 12 Class 4A Tuttle squad. She’s fast and mobile, with true potential to turn into more of a wing. Especially on the defensive end. Covers a lot of ground on the defense with the way she flies around for blocks. Great timing to close out on shooters, or even recover against drivers. And will quickly get down the floor to work hard to score easy points. Strong mix of early production and athletic potential. She earned Honorable Mention honors in the Western Athletic Conference, a difficult league that produced 4 State Tournaments teams.

First time seeing this young lady play and impressive was her ability to play off the ball at times. She first caught my eye with the outside jumper that she was knocking down all day. I began to notice all the small things she contributes to her team. Scrappy player on the boards that scored on several putbacks.

Again first time seeing Evalynn play this season. Only a 2028 that gets court time on a traditionally ranked program should say a lot. A player that I will follow as she gains valuable varsity experience this season.
