Point guard that does an excellent job at changing speeds finding a way to get that paint touch that we all look for to make things happen. Got the opportunity to watch at a couple of events and she did a great job in finding just the smallest gap to split the defense. Good finisher at the rim using just enough of her body to shield off the defender to release the shot. A shooter that is capable of knocking down the 3 off the catch and shoot. The shot off the dribble pull up freezes the defense just enough to pocket dribble to get downhill.

2028 to watch this season as I think she will have a strong season this year for the Lady Royals

Quicker lead guard with good handles, who did a good job of handling pressure in the match up watched. Has a good eye and accuracy for pass, especially with an understanding of how to drive to set up her teammates. Had a “give me that” steal when ripping the ball away from an opponent who tried to drive by her. Tompkins has enjoyed an strong spring and summer ahead of a bigger role this upcoming season for CCS.

A 2028 combo guard that will be counted on next season to step up this upcoming school season due to an injury. A guard that has solid good ball handling skills and patience setting up the offense to handle the point guard position. On paint touches she made good decisions when reading the help defense. The outside jumper is effective and because she moves without the ball, she can also play the shooting guard position.

A hustler on defense that does not mind mixing it on the floor to win a 50/50 loose ball. Good defense off the ball as she is up defending the denying the passing lanes. Showed understanding on defense with rotation and filling the gaps on drives. I have seen her growth over the summer and expect that to continue as she will be a key player this upcoming school season.

Quick point guard that has nice handles and controls the tempo of the game. Like the fact that she pushed the ball as deep as possible looking for the fastbreak basket. If not there made smart decision and wheeled it out to set up the offense. Demonstrated patience in the 2 man game waiting tor the defense to commit before passing to the rolling post. Used a nice floater to help get the shot off on drives against the post to avoid the block shot.
