Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Irelynd averaged a double-double for ETC as a junior (16.6 ppg., 10.4 rpg), hit 1,000 career points, and earned All-UP First Team honors. She’s a force inside and finishes well at the rim using either hand in traffic. Irelynd muscles her way into scoring position, earns trips to the free throw line, and knocks them down at a high clip. She gives ETC an advantage in the paint and will be an important factor in the playoffs again come March.

Irelyn was a major force behind her team’s incredible run to the state finals last season, playing a pivotal role on both ends of the floor. The 5-foot-10 forward showcased her versatility and consistency, averaging a double-double with 16.6 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Her strength inside, ability to finish through contact, and presence on the glass made her a matchup problem for opponents all year long. As she heads into her senior season, I’m expecting Irelyn to once again be a dominant and reliable leader for her team.

Irelynd was essential to Ewen-Trout Creek’s run to the State Finals last season, and she should be a dominant U.P. prospect once again as a senior. Irelynd’s productive rebounding and efficiency around the basket earned her an All-Breslin D4 selection. She’s a 1,000-point scorer and a double-double threat every game. Irelynd has good touch around the basket, footwork, and can shoot from the perimeter. She protects the rim as a shot blocker and has qualities as a forward that would benefit a college program.
