Byron Xerxes Livsey | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Byron Xerxes Livsey entered the scouting space in the spring of 2021 and quickly became a trusted evaluator in girls and women’s basketball. His perspective is shaped by nearly a decade with the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, where he served as a lead practice player before moving into player development. That foundation gives him a clear understanding of what translates from high school to college and beyond. He is the founder of BXLENT Training, a development company centered on skill work, confidence, and long-term growth. He also leads BXLENT Management and Marketing, an agency dedicated exclusively to women’s basketball, representing and building brands for WNBA and collegiate athletes. Now in his fourth year as Head Scout for Illinois and his fifth year with Prep Girls Hoops, Byron is committed to identifying and evaluating impact talent across the state. His philosophy is built on confidence, fundamentals, and the small details that separate good players from great ones. For real-time evaluations, player insights, and in-depth coverage of Illinois girls basketball, follow Byron’s work.
