Robinson had some great flashes at Sunday’s event. Quick, light on her feet, and seriously explosive, the 5’0 guard really shined when scoring in transition. Each time her team forced a live-ball turnover, Aaliyah sprinted up the floor ahead of the defense, allowing her teammates to find her and get easy buckets at the rim. On defense, her speed was an asset for Team 11. Though the Park Center guard is smaller than most players on the floor, her ability to move laterally allowed her to consistently keep her opponents in front and stop drives to the basket. Robinson also showed off a variety of polished finishes at the rim throughout the showcase.

Robinson brought energy and confidence to the Showcase, standing out early in 3-on-3 play. Explosive to the rim, she elevates smoothly and finishes with creativity, including a polished step-through and reverse layup. She isn’t shy about pulling from deep, either, showing strong mechanics and a confident release. Physical, competitive, and aggressive, Robinson showed she can make an impact in multiple ways and isn’t afraid of the spotlight. We’ll be watching to see how she does this winter with the Pirates.
