Woodham, who now wears the Overlooked Skills Academy uniform, was part of a 4A Darlington team that last season finished 19-7 while holding its own in a tough region. The standout sophomore guard played in 19 of the Falcons’ 26 games while averaging 9.7 points, 3.4 assists and 1.4 steals per contest. As that indicates, Woodham is every bit as potent a passer as she is a distributor of the ball. Woodham also showcases plenty of speed and agility with hard-nosed defense where she does not leave too much space between herself and who she is guarding. She gives everything she has on every play and approaches the game with a consistent heads-up mentality. When the 2026-27 season tips off, Darlington will return to the 3A ranks.

Early on in 4A Darlington’s matchup against Ascension Academy, its interior attack was guiding the Falcons to success over the Royals. As the contest wore on, guard play took over and Woodham was one of the featured guards for Darlington as she has been all season. Woodham concluded her Tuesday with 13 points. One of the many areas where Woodham thrives is as a transition playmaker. The heads-up attitude she brings to every play enable her to come away with steals on defense and she is a proficient passer in large part because of her court vision. Woodham is one of only two sophomores on this year’s Falcons team.

Woodham’s Darlington team was another group that made a move up in realignment. The Falcons went from 3A to 4A. She made a jump into the top 10 of our 2028 list. She recently completed her latest AAU season wearing the uniform of One Force and is poised to translate that success into an impressive sophomore season in Darlington purple. Along with her point-getting prowess, Woodham places plenty of emphasis on ball distribution which is why she led the Falcons in assists last season. One also has to watch out for her on defense as she is a constant threat to force an opposing team into a turnover and take advantage of said miscue.

Woodham constantly found herself around the ball here today making plays. Aaliyah does a nice job of seeing the floor and playing active on both ends of the court. She really likes to drive it at times to the rack when given the opportunity. She likes to play the game in attack mode. Look for her to get some minutes this season for the Lady Falcons.
