Expert Analysis
Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Solid kid who has grown in both size and in her game. Each year it seems that she adds something to her arsenal. One year she was a three point threat. Next year she is slicing to the rim and going up strong, this year she has added the pull up jumper, I mean every year she keeps getting better and better. Gritty player who just loves to compete. Tell her once, she gets it and goes hard at it. The kid is growing and will be a solid addition at the next level.

Fun kid to watch. Really gets after it on both ends. Offensively, is really tough when she’s able to beat the initial defender and get into the paint. Has the whole bag of finishes, and is especially tough with her right hand. Has developed as a playmaker and is making the right reads as a passer. Disruptive on the ball defender that uses her length and athleticism well. Still unsigned and primed for a big time senior year.

This kid is always so fun to watch- her hustle factor is something college coaches must notice as she never seems to take a play off. Plus her and Alexander have developed great chemistry through the years. They know how to play off each other so well at this point, and make one another better.
She’s got tight handles, and at her best when she’s attacking the rim. She has a bag of finishes and floaters, but also knows the “rim reads” of when to kick to a shooter. She is a consistent 3 point threat, and all that’s lacking is that “stop on a dime” pullup off the dribble.
I thought she was impressive at BCAT.

The Cannon County product continues to prove why she was District Player of the Year. She shined at moments this weekend as a kid that you simply can’t lose focus while guarding….because if you fall asleep, she’s going to move out of the defenders vision, and she’s automatic when left open. Super quick trigger. Really impressive scorer.

The ’25 guard played rock solid on Saturday morning. She had a nice 7 point half in which she was ultra aggressive offensively. Shipley has given her the greenlight, and she’s taking full advantage of it!

District 9-2A regular-season champ Cannon County is having one of the best seasons in recent memory, winning 20 games for the first time since 2015. The Lionettes are hoping to return to the Murpheesboro for the first time since that season, when they went 25-10 before losing in the state semis.
Cannon County is trying to end their drought! The 10th-ranked Lionettes (22-5) have won nine in a row and 16 of 17 heading into district tournament play. Six of the team’s last nine wins have been by at 20 points or more.
Abbilyn Teter has been terrific as their leading scorer, and teammate Abi Alexander give them a high-powered backcourt.

Teeter has help spur her Cannon County team to a 15-5 record, with a recent win over Cascade in which she scored a career high 20 points. Abi Alexander gets most of the Cannon pub, but Teeter is turning into a lethal scoring option in her own right. She’s a two way player that helps give Cannon a chance to make some real noise in the post season. Post season is all about matchups, getting stops, and having shot makers (everyone has shot takers—but you need makers). Cannon has the makings a team that could cause some real issues.
