Fearless in transition and clever around the rim. Hard to move inside and competes on every possession. Blocks shots and stays with plays until they are over, finding drives and putbacks. Also shows solid passing ability when defenses collapse. Has a relentless motor and strong presence. Best player for Rolling Meadows. Her energy and consistency set the standard for the team on both ends.

Meadows’ trip downstate was not foreseen by anyone who had an opinion. However, when you have a player like Ramel, the chance can always be there. Ramel’s style of play is as simple as it gets, but it’s effective, and in this sport, that’s the goal to get to. Though she didn’t get her team to the final game of the tourney, in both the opening and the third place game, Ramel was on a mission to help lead her team to a win. Wherever she lands is getting a strong player. | Tournament Average 18ppg, 9rebs, 53.6% FG

One of the more efficient performances of the day. Ramel plays the game at her own pace and rarely gets sped up. She showed strong touch around the rim and did not shy away from any of the contact waiting for her. She is active when she is off the ball, and that has been consistent in the rebound column. | 18 pts (8-11), and 10 rebs

Ramel has been the outright dominant player for this Rolling Meadows for the last couple of years.. and she hasn’t slowed down in her senior year. She’s a player who can light you up on the offensive end, then guard your top players with no issue. She has a strong frame, and she knows when and how to use it to her advantage. The potential is still growing, and it’s already high.

Ramel has been the scoring force behind Rolling Meadows for the past couple of seasons, and I don’t expect a drop off going into her senior year. She’s a player who allows her instincts to take over and doesn’t truly hesitate before making a play or taking a shot. She has a solid frame to her as well. A big senior year is ahead for this kid.

This will be Ramel’s first season on the adidas AAU circuit, and joining a program that has been a staple in Illinois will be a strong test for her. She has a ton of potential, and she’s playing off pure instincts. As her skillset grows over the course of the summer, she’ll be a name to write down. Excited to see her compete in this type of environment.

Ramel is “new” on the scene, mainly because she hasn’t played for an AAU program yet (send those offers in!). However, if you’ve been fortunate enough to catch her in action, you can see all the traits of a college guard. It’s clear that she’s a flat-out hard worker, and that potential will be fully tapped into and showcased very soon.
