About Abby

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to play fast and get up and down the floor fast. I like to get to my spots on the floor to be a potential outlet for a shot. I'm a pass first player but if I have to create my own shot I can do that as well. I like to advance the ball up the floor quickly since it is such an effective way to score the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a mentality that there's always more I can do so that I can improve. I am never satisfied with where I am. I try to improve every time I'm in the gym. I have a good personality and will include everyone in any situation. I like to make sure the room is light and if it's not I will try my best to do that.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am on my class council for school. I am also involved in a club for my school called MVP (Mentors in Violence Prevention). This club focuses on being able to tell when you are in a situation with abuse. I have received awards for ISASP's and other academic things.

Abby Wedemeier Abby Wedemeier Abby Wedemeier 5'7" | SG/PG CR - Kennedy | 2028 IA is a pass-first PG, that is going to put up some noteworthy performances this Winter at CR – Kennedy High School. Wedemeier is the guard on your team that you want to have the ball a majority of the time. The way that she can handle pressure, lead by example, and create for those around her is impressive. There were a good amount of skilled guards at this event and this is someone who stood out as one of the best overall as a PG. She wasn’t killing anyone with flash but more-so with fundamental and easy play. The type of play that will translate to the next level one day if she continues to keep on working on her craft.
