Brown took to the court on 22 occasions in the 2023-24 season while averaging a double-double of 16.4 points and 12.2 rebounds. uses her length to be a playmaker on both ends of the court. She has already had a strong travel season with her ability to score on all levels. She can knock down her shot from around the arc elevating over her opponents, and she flashes to the open spot inside the paint being ready to score right off the pass. On defense, she is versatile with who she can guard keeping up with quick opponents around the perimeter and handling her own space on the block using her length to deflect passes and block shots.

Abigail Brown had some nice range with her shot knocking it down from around the perimeter. She handled the ball well pushing it up the court finding her open teammates. She does well following shots working for the rebound on both ends. She gets up high blocking shots on defense protecting the basket doing whatever she can.

Abigail Brown is someone who knows how to make the right adjustments no matter what her goal is on the court. She can close out quickly on defense blocking shots from anywhere, and she can find her open teammate making a quick, long pass up the court. She knows exactly how to go to work with the ball whether it’s off the dribble making her own plays or grabbing the pass to put up her quick shot.

Prior to the season, Abigail was a top performer at the PGH Top 250 Expo and she certainly hasn’t let up since then. This a player that coaches on the next level must keep an eye on as this versatile forward is having a monster year for Green Hope High out in Cary, NC. The junior is averaging 16 points to go along with 12 rebounds for the Lady Falcons and has shown that she can be the focal point of an offense or can play off the ball and spot up for her teammates to find her. Abigail’s size simply gives teams problems and she will leave opponents puzzled on how to guard her as she can blow by bigger defenders and operate very well in iso. She can rebound effectively and take the ball coast to coast and she is very good at recognizing and taking advantage of the mismatch. I like the way she can play off the pick and roll and uses a nice jab step to her advantage when she attacks off the dribble. There is a a lot to like with Abigail and she has plenty enough upside to warrant more attention based off of the versatility that she has shown to have this season.

is a spectacular athlete. She gives her 100% when she is on the floor with Green Hope. Brown led her team with 21 points in this contest. Defensively, Brown is an elite shot blocker. She anticipates well. In the game, Brown blocked 5 shots and two of the blocks looked more like a volleyball spike than a basketball block. Brown has fantastic energy on the court and really gives to her teammates. Additionally, Brown has range from 30 feet. At the end of the 3rd quarter, she connected on a three from deep, deep behind the three-point line.

Abigail Brown uses her height to be effective all over the court. She gets inside for rebounds, and she knows how to battle for second chance opportunities. She can drive to the hoop creating her own open lane rolling the ball off her fingertips at the rim. Her long strides make it easy for her to step around her opponents getting to the basket quickly. Her range of moves like using a jab step around the perimeter or a power dribble inside makes it difficult for opponents to find the right person to guard her.

The Green Hope guard really turned a lot of heads Sunday as her size and ability to handle the ball was truly something to see. This lefty knows how to attack the lane hard and can to get to the free throw line. She is a player that will certainly leave coaches puzzled on how to defend her as she can blow by bigger defenders and shoot right over smaller defenders. She had solid day shooting the basketball as she was able to step and knock down the 3 ball. I also love her commitment to being able to rebound the basketball as she is a strong rebounder who knows how to follow up her shot for second chance opportunities. She is also a really good shot blocker and above average defender. She has very advanced level game that is sure to draw the eye of coaches in need of multi-positional players.
