About Abigail

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Explosive, dominant on defense, willingness to go above and beyond for each and every play, lethal from outside the arc, the not afraid of contact and diving on the ground for the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to always have fun when I am playing. Playing like it my last game ever. Playing like I need to give my 110% every time I am on the court. Also, having short term memory about my mistakes on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of Rho Kappa (Social Studies Honor Society), National English Honor Society, National Society of Leadership and Success, BL Ambassador Program, and Student Leadership.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed skills like trust, respect, loyalty, and the ability to understand different situations. From being captain 2 years in a row in high school, I've been able to see what it takes to led a team to success and work on communication with my teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This past basketball season was my biggest challenge yet. I played on JV this past season due to politics after being on the JV team since I was a freshman. Hearing this new, my heart was broken and I thought I lost my love for the game, but soon it helped me realize how much I really do love basketball. I played the best basketball of my life and now it's given me a new mind set on how to play!

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a family like team that surrounds its self with love and dedication. Definitely a defense first team and would help me excel at my 3's. Some where, they help players develop at there own pace and skill set.
