Abriya Watkins Abriya Watkins 5'8" | CG Omaha Northwest Highschool | 2025 State NE has recently signed to compete with DMACC out of Des Moines next season but I’m sure she is focused on the here and now. Watkins is a shifty CG, that plays with a calculated aggression, a shifty first step, and a willingness to squabble up with anyone that might want to step in her way. I didn’t see Watkins on the AAU road this Spring but I heard she put together a season to remember and that checks out as she was getting steady interest from recruiters, prior to her commitment. DMACC usually has some ballers and knowing the Classes they have coming in, I think Watkins will fit in just perfectly with the group as a whole.

I would describe Abriya Watkins Abriya Watkins 5'8" | CG Omaha Northwest Highschool | 2025 State NE and her crafty handling ability as impressive but fundamental. She isn’t someone that is ever trying to do too much but she is still always trying to make a play so her team has success, if that makes sense. Her 1v1 game is solid as she understands opponents tendencies but she also competes as a team player, unless she really needs to take over. It’ll be interesting to see how Watkins does taking over this season for her last ride at the high school Varsity level. If it’s anything like year’s past, she should thrive.
