AK35 led her team in the painted area’s last season at Regina as their enforcer. She did a good job during the year at holding her position and controlling what she could while people were cutting past her. She communicated well when screens and other things of that nature were on the way, she wasn’t afraid to mix it up with ANYONE in her way physically, and she always gave maximum effort on both ends of the floor – never taking a play off. Klein will be back once again this upcoming season for one more run for her Senior campaign. With her returning and the return of their future D1 PG, there is always a chance it could end up being a special season if they play their cards correctly.

Adalee Klein Adalee Klein 6'1" | C Regina Catholic | 2027 IA has had an excellent year on a somewhat young Regina Catholic squad. Fresh off of earning First Team All-River Valley Conference honors, the junior center has shown leadership and reliability in waves this season. She’s averaging 11 points, 6.5 boards, and 1.5 blocks per game as the Regals’ primary threat in the paint. Klein does a lot of things well in the lane — she seeks contact and seals off defenders extremely well, stays vertical on wall-ups, and has great timing on blocks. Shooting at an impressive 54.1% from the floor, Klein will have to flex her muscle and impose her will even more if Regina wants to make a run at the Championship — and I think she’s capable of it.

If Adalee Klein Adalee Klein 6'1" | C Regina Catholic | 2027 IA can hold own over the next few months for Regina Catholic, they should make it back to the State Tournament at the end of the year. Klein comes into this Winter at 6’1 with some promise to her play-style. Last season she was force to deal with in middle of the lane as a competitor. She tipped, deflected, and altered almost every shot that came close to her between the blocks, demonstrating that she has good discipline while having some quick reflexes along with her natural length. This is a hooper that should receive several opportunities to make a difference once again this Winter with the Regals. She just needs to keep it simple and the rest will be history.

Following a 7.1PPG and 5.9RPG freshman year (second-most on her team), this season will provide ample opportunity for Vinton Shellsburg’s Adalee Klein Adalee Klein 6'1" | C Regina Catholic | 2027 IA to shine. At 6’1″, Klein averaged almost three offensive rebounds last season for the Vikings and one can only assume her rebounding numbers will climb this year. In addition Klein shot at a 47% clip last year. After graduating last year’s top-scorer, Julia Johnson, the Vikings will need a go-to player and I think Klein can step up to the challenge.
