About Adalyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play an unselfish, team-oriented game, focusing on ball movement, spacing, and making the right play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a hardworking and motivated player who takes the game seriously and stays focused on the court. I push myself to improve every day, give full effort in practices and games, and stay locked in when it’s time to compete. Off the court, I’m easygoing and like to laugh and keep things light, but once I step on the floor, my mindset is all disapline and teamwork.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, outside of sports I was a member of the National Junior Honor Society, and I’m also involved in my school’s theater program. Both experiences have helped me build leadership, discipline, and creativity in different ways. Made all As through middle school receiving awards yearly for this.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills both on and off the court. I like to encourage my teammates, be someone they can talk to and count on, and step up to teach or guide others when it’s wanted. I’ve learned how to listen, support, and lead in a way that helps the whole team succeed

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges was shifting teams this past season and adjusting to a new coach and a different group of girls. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it also taught me that I can adapt, fit in, and find my role with any team. That experience made me more flexible, resilient, and confident in my ability to contribute no matter the situation.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a coach who is honest and provides consistent feedback. I value a coach who will push me to reach my potential, hold me accountable, and help me grow through both encouragement and constructive criticism.
