Mogbo has previous experience at Grace Christian and currently wears the colors of 7A Holly Springs. She is also well-known in West Virginia hoops circles considering she has played for WV Thunder 16U. One can detect through her play why she has drawn collegiate interest from schools such as North Carolina A&T, Elon, UNC-Greensboro and East Tennessee State. Mogbo is also a multi-sport athlete who has played flag football at Holly Springs in addition to her growing list of basketball achievements. Mogbo led her Golden Hawks to one of the most noteworthy turnarounds in North Carolina high school basketball season as Holly Springs improved from nine victories two seasons ago to a 23-2 record in 2025-26. She played in all 25 games last season averaging 15.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.6 steals and 2.3 assists per contest.

An athletic forward that plays hard and has a motor. She is tough around the rim and has a knack to go get the ball off the glass. Mogbo runs the floor well and can get easy transition buckets. If she continues to extend her game and stretch the floor she will be a pleasant surprise for her Grace Christian team.

Adaora Mogbo Adaora Mogbo 5'11" | PF Holly Springs | 2028 NC does a little bit of everything for her team.  She hits some big shots around the perimeter, and she knows how to battle against her opponents to score off the dribble pulling up quickly to knock down the jumper.  She has a way of reading the floor even while running full speed up the court creating the open lane to attack the basket.

Adaora Mogbo Adaora Mogbo 5'11" | PF Holly Springs | 2028 NC had a nice rebound and full court solo fast break taking it coast to coast and banking it off the glass.  She handled the ball well around the perimeter being ready to put up her shot, and she had some nice moves spinning her way to the open shot.

A theme has developed with our most recent 2028 articles. These are names that we here at Prep Girls Hoops vividly remember from the Freshman Showcase a few months back at the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center. Mogbo’s 4A Holly Springs team may have had a down year last season as the Golden Hawks only prevailed in four of their contests last season. At 5-foot-10, one can expect her pile up the number of rebounds she gets and for her to win plenty of tough battles on the boards. Mogbo is also a skilled rim attacker. With her on the team, expect for Holly Springs’ fortunes to start turning around.
