About Addi

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would say my gameplay style is very versatile; I am well-rounded in many aspects of the game. I am gritty, work hard, and try to make every little play, no matter how small, for my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very outgoing and goal-oriented person. I focus on Christ first and foremost, and he is the one who gives me any good traits I might have. He has given me the talent and desire to lead in all aspects of my life, whether it be on the court, in the classroom, or just in everyday life. My mentality on the court is to always work harder than anyone else around me, but also hype up my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Family Career and Community Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Gifted and Talented, and the Academic Team at my high school. In FCCLA, I have won state in the Leadership STAR Event and placed 2nd in state the following year. I qualified nationally and competed in Orlando, Florida.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership-wise, I do many things for my community. I am a bible school teacher at my church, lead a women's bible club, I am a music teacher, and have also coached at a few basketball camps. I love to sing, especially if it's for my country or community, and often honor the US by singing the national anthem at rodeos, ballgames, and tournaments.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The challenge I faced happened during my 7th-grade year. That year, I started to notice that I had trouble breathing, little to no stamina, and had terrible migraines every other day. We visited OU Children's and learned I had a hole in my heart, causing me to not get enough oxygen to my brain and body. I missed my whole 7th-grade year, but with a patch and lots of prayers, I am healthy now.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college closer to my home area. I'm just excited about having a chance to play, and hopefully close to my family if at all possible.

Small town baller, who had productive moments as a scorer. Showed good shooting touch on her shot from around 10-15 feet with pull ups and extended floaters/runners. Good footwork, strength and understanding angles allows her to be effective as a driver. Has some sneaky lift with good hangtime, further helping her be a tough bucket getter. Even popped up on the offensive glass with a putback.
