A motored up kid who is one of the better two way players in the mid-state. A combo guard who can handle the ball or attack from the wings. She can shoot it from the arc at a high clip or take it below the arc and finish at the rim. She gets after it on each possession, being a part of the play in some facet. Offensively, she is going to make the right play or the right read that finishes in a favorable outcome. Defensively, she is going to get a stop, rebound, or get a steal. She is active and knows when to attack. Her game has grown tremendously. Look for her to help her ballclub get back to the ship this season.

Speedy wing player who has a knack for being in the right spot at the right time. Offensively, she can finish at the rim, attack the mid-range area and pull up, splash it from 3. Defensively, she can sit down and defend PGs all the way to stretch 4s. She anticipates well, getting steals, on the glass on both ends of the floor, and just competes her tail off. This kid plays each and every game like that, giving Goodpasture an opportunity to win each night. She may not get the pub like some of the others, however she is the glue that makes this team stick. Smart, heady ball player, who is an exceptional talent.

Ruffin had a great postseason run with Goodpasture last season, and then carried it right over into the exposure season. She hangs her hat on her defense, and she’s capable of guarding the other teams best player, and can guard multiple positions. Creates havoc with her active hands and deflections. Is at her best offensively around the rim, but has turned herself into a capable 3 point shooter. Plays extremely hard.

Addi Ruffin Addi Ruffin 5'7" | SF Goodpasture | 2025 State TN made a name for herself during Goodpasture’s tournament run and has picked up right where she left off. Addi was one of the best defenders this weekend and turned that defense into transition offense opportunities for her team.

Another ’25 guard for Goodpasture that was impressive. Ruffin came into the game with a reputation as a high profile 3 point shooter. She didn’t shoot particulary well against TKA (5-15 from the field, 3-10 from 3) to finish with 13 points and 3 rebounds. It was obvious that part of TKA’s gameplan was to try to keep Ruffin from getting hot from 3….and they did a pretty good job….but that’s the benefit of having a high level shooter—it creates gaps. Part of why Hawkins had so much room to operate was that TKA wasn’t leaving Ruffin. When you take one thing away you tend you give up another…and for Goodpasture they will simply let you pick your poison.
