Addie Overturff Addie Overturff 5'11" | PG/SG Greers Ferry Westside | 2025 State AR is Westside’s point guard and she has found success in her lone season in Greers Ferry. She has led this team to a perfect conference season and will look to keep it up in the championship.

Overturff only had 6 points in the semi-final against Rural Special, but her defense and playmaking helped the Lady Eagles come away with the victory. She always keeps her eyes up when she brings the ball up the floor, looking for an open teammate. On the defensive side of the ball, her 5’11” frame and long arms help deflect passes and grab rebounds.

Overturff averaged around 20 points at Shirley High School last season, so she has the ability to be the go-to scorer if she needs to be. She also had 14 points in the district title game, helping Westside close it out with the win.

Overturff finished with 4 assists on the evening, making the correct reads and threading passes with accuracy. Whether she was passing up ahead or finding her open teammates, she helped facilitate Westside’s efficient offense.

On the scoring front, Overturff only had 4 points, but both field goals came in the third quarter. She used her tall frame to position herself inside, and once she received a pass, she could simply shoot over the defense. The senior also had a solid handle.

This super senior is another player who is underrated in Arkansas girls’ basketball. A coach’s dream on the court and an exceptional athlete, Overturff is a ball player. Towering at 5’11, this positionless player is unselfish and very fundamental. On defense she’s always reacts to the ball. It can be cross court pass or on ball defense, she pushes herself hard to get a stop, deflection, block, or steal. In transition Addie can’t be stopped. She has a great cast of players surrounding her and who reward her for her defense with a 1st go to pass. Time has shown throughout the season how much she has progressed in her dribbling. She runs like the wind and that has been a problem for defenders in transition. I see this one making huge moves upwards in the next rankings. #14 can shoot the 3 consistently and also facilitate to her teammates. A “do it all” type of player who uses her teammates very well in game situations. A player to keep an eye out for in 24-25 has the last name Overturff, and I can’t wait to see how far she and The Eagles will go!
