Gillespie gave me a great first look at the Simmie Colson Classic, and her skillset immediately grabbed my attention. She’s gritty and never takes a play off, but her boxing out, diving for loose balls, going after everything off the rim just took me back to another era, see evaluation here

Gillespie played the passing lane off the top and that grabbed my attention yet watching her BATTLE for rebounds, boxing out, and diving on the floor for loose balls gets her the guess what #THROWBACK hashtag. She does a good job creating her shot and dropping it from outside “catch and shoot” included plus she scores off the dribble and around the basket, putbacks included so yes, she rebounds on both ends.
