Greeley has been a consistent scorer for the Lady Wolverines. In the month of January, she averaged 11 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, and 2 steals a game in just 22 minutes of action. She also shot 43% from the floor and 46% from three, all in just one month.

The sophomore is clearly a 3-point sniper. She is great both off the catch and off the bounce, and if a defense does not have a hand up, she will make them pay. If they do respect the shot, then Greeley has the ability to take them off the bounce and create inside.

She has yet to make her presence felt on Bentonville West’s varsity squad, but she was tearing it up on their Junior High squad, shooting 64% from 3-point range at one point during the beginning of conference play. She ended the year averaging 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game.

Greeley is a phenomenal shooter. If that 64% clip was not impressive enough, she finished her freshman campaign shooting 93% from the free throw line, as well as 48% from the field.

Greeley has shown flashes of being able to create off the dribble. Whether from mid-range or three, she is a threat to consistently make shots, with or without a defender in her face.

Greeley is also great at attacking the paint. She exploits gaps in the defense and capitalizes on driving lanes. Once she gets to the basket, she uses her length to finish up and over the defense.

I have no idea why Addison Greeley Addison Greeley 5'8" | SG/CG Bentonville West | 2028 State AR is still playing for Bentonville West’s Junior High team because she is clearly ready to play on varsity. I understand the Lady Wolverines have a number of impactful guards playing, but they need to make this freshman a starter right now!

Greeley has a killer handle and she makes defenders look silly whenever she has the ball on a string. She loves to hit her defender with a behind the back move or a crossover, and she can either step back and shoot a three or drive inside to score. From the outside, Greeley has a nice shooting form and a quick release. She is just as solid shooting off the catch as she is shooting off the dribble.

Greeley can certainly create her own offense, but she is great at involving her teammates. She makes slick passes, especially transition or cross-court dishes. Greeley is accurate, and her passes almost always end in assists.

As an incoming freshman for Bentonville West High School, I see Addison getting some significant minutes. A “Run for the Roses” Champion with her club team AAO Flight, Greeley has smashed the narrative of her being a ” Big”. I love “students of the game”, and one can tell that she studies players moves and adds them to her game! Developing speed and reaction time will come with this hard worker. The class of 2028 guard can be shifty and has a few combo- moves in her pocket. “I like her in between behind move that she sets up defenders with. This one can score from anywhere on the court and shoot the 3 out of a dribble move over defenders. A strong confidence lingers around Addison, and she’ll wear it well going into high school basketball in 24-25. She won’t go unrecognized this year but be on the lookout for Greeley!
