When I saw that Keenan was also a soccer player I was not surprised in the least bit. She was a scrappy, tough competitor who stayed in the middle of the action and did not shy away from contact. Defensively, she read the passing lanes very well and was able to jump in and intercept and deflect several balls, especially in their full court trapping defense. On the ball, Addison applied a lot of ball pressure to Sanford Sports and Michigan Mystics guards, who are also very skilled and talented players. On the offensive end, Keenan scored from all over the court, including when she was able to turn defense into offense. She shot the ball well from three and the free throw line when she got there and showed the ability to finish in traffic over and around taller defenders when met at the basket. She was very shifty with the basketball in her hands and did a nice job creating space off the bounce. I am not sure what sport she is planning on pursuing at the next level, but she would a very good player at a lot of schools playing basketball in college.

Addy kept the ball on a string, keeping defenders off balance. One of the best handles I saw all day; low, tight & shifty. Smart lead guard skills on full display vs Hudson Catholic; high execution rate. Well-placed outlet passes to feed teammates on the break. Crafty finish on the drive. Deep 3 balls that come in bunches.

Addy dictated the pace by relentlessly attacking downhill, initiating physical contact with defenders and utilizing quick changes of pace to create separation. She protected the ball by pocketing it away from the defender. Sharp court vision on the outlet pass. High assist-to-turnover ratio.

Addy was ultra crafty getting to the basket. She kept her dribble alive while maneuvering through steadfast defense and loads of pressure from all angles. Unable to be fully contained when she turned the jets on getting downhill. Pretty floater to avoid getting her shot rejected close to the basket.

Addison is set to bring a dynamic offensive presence to the 17U Power 24 team after a huge high school season where she totaled 557 points, 144 rebounds, and 119 assists. Now sitting at 1,457 career points, she’s on pace to reach 2,000 in her senior year. Addison impacts the game as both a scorer and playmaker, capable of creating for herself and setting up teammates at a high level.

Addison helped lead her school to its first state sectional title in 30 years and delivered an incredible performance in the semifinal with 34 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals while knocking down eight three-pointers. Nearly automatic from the perimeter, she pairs her scoring with strong leadership, bringing the ball up with a tight handle and setting up teammates when defenses collapse. Around the basket she shows polished footwork, changing strides and pace to create scoring opportunities.
