Shelby is a dynamic scorer who knows how to put pressure on defenses. She does an excellent job drawing contact and getting to the free-throw line. From beyond the arc, her quick release allows her to fire confidently from deep range, even several feet behind the three-point line. Shelby can also create separation off the dribble to generate her own shot, and she consistently makes the extra pass to keep her team flowing offensively.

Energetic and highly committed two-way guard. With the ball in her hands, Shelby consistently made plays, whether stepping into deep 3’s or creating opportunities for teammates with unselfish passing. Sharp vision, especially with her ability to deliver well-timed and well-placed post-entry passes that led directly to quality scoring chances. Defensively, she showed impressive bounce & timing around the basket, rotating over to block shots and provide weak-side rim protection.

Shelby is set to play her final AAU season with United NJ after winning a Group 4 state championship and earning NJBCA All-County honors. She does an excellent job getting her feet set along the three-point line, allowing her to shoot with confidence. When defenders overplay her on the perimeter, she’s quick to attack the paint and find open teammates. She’s also a tenacious on-ball defender and has a smooth pull-up game in the mid-range.
